Empowering youth with lifelong financial confidence.

Empowering vulnerable youth with the skills, confidence, and real-world knowledge to take control of their financial futures.

Through hands-on workshops, one-on-one support, and mentorship, we bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical, lifelong independence.

Recognizing the critical need for financial literacy among foster youth, our founders combined their experiences in banking, education, and the nonprofit sector to create workshops that go beyond generic advice.

Co-founder

With expertise in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship, Shifaa brings a dynamic, relatable approach to teaching vital financial skills, with a focus on application.

It Started with an Itch & a Question.

Financial Futures began with a simple realization: most people never learn how money really works.

The Spark: Students of Finance

As a university student in retail banking, co-founder Sanya Bajaj saw clients from all backgrounds struggling with debt they didn’t fully understand, including hardworking adults who’d simply never been taught the basics of credit or repayment.

Meanwhile, Shifaa Syed, studying business and entrepreneurship, realized that even formal education overlooked everyday financial skills. She applied what she learned—and what she wasn’t taught—to build her own ventures, uncovering the real-world lessons schools and banks often miss.

The Problem: Most Youth Will Never Learn the Basics of Money.

When Shifaa and Sanya met at university, their shared experiences turned into action. They saw that financial literacy wasn’t just missing from classrooms, it was missing from conversations entirely. By August 2023, still students themselves, they founded Financial Futures Education with one mission: to make financial education accessible, engaging, and empowering for every young person.

Their Vision: Learning That Lasts a Lifetime.

Think back to your own school days: what stands out most? Probably the fun moments: the field trips, the classroom challenges, the laughter.

That’s the philosophy behind Financial Futures. Every workshop is built to stick — combining hands-on activities, relatable examples, and real-world lessons that make finance feel approachable and fun. To put it simply: we deliver value that lasts far beyond the classroom.
